- diffusing tea tree oil

Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get into essential oils for a while, and tea tree oil is like, the starter oil, right? I finally got a diffuser and a bottle of tea tree oil, and I was so excited to try it out. This is how the whole thing went down.
First, I unboxed everything. The diffuser was pretty straightforward – a base, a water tank, and a top. The tea tree oil was just a small, dark glass bottle. Nothing fancy, which is fine by me.
Next, I read the instructions for the diffuser. Gotta make sure I don’t mess this up. It seemed simple enough: fill the tank with water, add a few drops of oil, and turn it on.
I then added 2 drops of tea tree oil. I was a bit hestiate at first, only add 1 drop, but the scent is barely noticeable, so I added 1 more.
At first, I didn’t smell much. I was like, “Did I do something wrong?” But after a few minutes, the scent started to fill the room. It was a strong, medicinal kind of smell, I guess, it is clean, and kinda refreshing. I was worried it would be overpowering, but with only 2 drops, it was pretty subtle.
I let the diffuser run for about an hour. The room smelled nice and clean, and I felt like I could breathe a little easier. And the diffuser create some cool mist. I think I’ll keep experimenting with different amounts of oil to find my sweet spot. For now, I’m pretty happy with my first tea tree oil diffusing experience!
