Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this here oolong and green tea, you know, the kinda stuff them fancy folks drink.
Does oolong or green tea have more caffeine? That’s what they’re askin’, right? Now, I ain’t no scientist, but I heard things, ya know? Folks talkin’ down at the market, sayin’ this and that.
I hear tell that oolong, it’s got a bit more pep in it than the green stuff. Kinda like how some folks got more energy than others, I guess. They say, for a small cup, like them little teacups they use at fancy parties, oolong’s got maybe a bit more of that caffeine stuff.
USDA, whatever that is, them fellas who count beans and stuff, they say green tea got about 12 of them caffeine things in a little cup. And oolong? It’s got maybe 16. So yeah, oolong’s got a little more kick, see? Like a mule kickin’ ya, but not that hard, just a little nudge.
But then, there’s this other green tea, matcha they call it. That one’s strong, real strong. Like them strong coffees them city folks drink. So, if you get that matcha stuff, well, that’s a whole different story, that’s got more caffeine than most. More than oolong, even.
Now, a regular cup, not them little ones, oolong’s got somethin’ like 50 to 75 of them caffeine things. Not as much as black tea, that’s the real strong stuff. Black tea’ll keep ya up all night, like watchin’ the chickens all night long. Oolong’s not like that, it just gives you a little boost.
Some folks, they think oolong ain’t got no caffeine. That ain’t true. It’s got some, just not as much as black tea. And some of them oolong teas, like Milk Oolong or that other fancy one, Wuyi, they might be different, I don’t know. It’s all a bit confusing, like tryin’ to count the stars at night.
Both oolong and green tea, they come from the same kinda plant, some fancy name I can’t remember. But they do different things to it, that’s why they taste different and have different amounts of that caffeine stuff.
So, to sum it all up, regular green tea got less caffeine than oolong. But that matcha green tea, that’s the sneaky one, that’s got more. It’s like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, ya know? And black tea, that’s the strongest of them all. Just remember, a little cup of oolong’s got more kick than a little cup of green, unless it’s that matcha stuff.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed the chickens.
