Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this here Earl Grey breakfast tea, alright? Folks been talkin’ about it, so I figured I’d give it a whirl myself. Now, I ain’t no fancy tea expert or nothin’, but I know what I like, and I know what gets me goin’ in the mornin’.

First off, they say it’s got that there bergamot in it. Sounds fancy, huh? It’s some kind of orange, they tell me. And lemme tell ya, you can sure smell it! It’s like a flower garden and a fruit stand all mixed together. Not too strong, mind you, just enough to tickle your nose and make you feel kinda… awake, ya know?

Now, some folks like their tea plain, but not me. I gotta have my milk and sugar. It’s just the way I was raised, I guess. And this Earl Grey, well, it takes to milk and sugar like a duck to water. Makes it all creamy and sweet, just the way I like it. Warms ya right up from the inside out, especially on them cold mornin’s when the wind’s howlin’ and the chickens are huddled up tight.

I heard some folks sayin’ this Earl Grey is more of a dessert tea, somethin’ you drink after supper. But I don’t see why you can’t have it for breakfast, too. Heck, I drink it whenever I feel like it! Mornin’, noon, or night, it don’t matter none to me. It’s got that somethin’ somethin’ that just makes you feel good.

They also talk about somethin’ called “English Breakfast” tea. Now, that one’s supposed to be strong, real strong. Gets you goin’ like a shot of espresso, I reckon. But I ain’t tried it yet. This Earl Grey is doin’ the trick just fine for me. It’s got enough kick to get me movin’, but it ain’t so strong it makes my hands shake.

• It smells real nice, like flowers and oranges.
• It tastes good with milk and sugar, all creamy and sweet.
• It warms you up on a cold day.
• It gives you a little bit of energy, but not too much.

And let me tell ya, I need that little bit of energy. Got chores to do, animals to feed, and a whole lotta other stuff. Can’t be sittin’ around all day, ya know? Gotta keep movin’ and shakin’. And this Earl Grey helps me do just that.

I ain’t sure where they get this tea from, but I heard you can buy it on that there “ebay”. They say you can get your money back if you don’t like it, but I ain’t never had to do that. Once I tried it, I was hooked. It’s just good, plain and simple.

So, if you’re lookin’ for a new tea to try, somethin’ that’s a little bit different but still tastes good, I say give this Earl Grey breakfast tea a shot. You might just like it. And if you don’t, well, you can always go back to whatever you was drinkin’ before. But me? I’m stickin’ with this Earl Grey. It’s my new favorite way to start the day. It’s got that black tea in it, that’s what they say gives you the go juice and I think I heard them say it has a bit more caffeine than other teas, maybe that’s why I feel so chipper after a cup.

It’s got that color and smell that just makes you feel good. I ain’t no poet or nothin’, but that’s the best way I can say it. It’s a good cup of tea, and that’s all there is to it. So go on, give it a try. You might just thank me for it.
