Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Earl Grey and English Breakfast tea, ya know? Folks always talkin’ fancy ’bout ’em, but it ain’t that complicated.

First off, let’s talk ’bout that Earl Grey. They say it’s got this bergamot somethin’ or other in it. Smells kinda like lemons, but not quite. I ain’t no expert, but it’s a nice smell, reminds me of grandma’s garden a bit. Now, some folks say it’s got caffeine, but not as much as that coffee stuff. That’s good for them that get all jittery, ya know? My old man, he couldn’t drink coffee after noon or he’d be up all night like a hoot owl. This Earl Grey, though, he could drink it anytime.

Then there’s that English Breakfast tea. Now, that’s what I call a real tea. Strong, ya know? Gets ya goin’ in the mornin’. It’s like, it just wakes ya right up. No fuss, no frills, just good ol’ tea. I like it with a bit of milk and sugar, myself. Makes it taste all creamy and sweet. But my neighbor, she drinks it straight up, black as night. Says that’s the only way to really taste it. Each to their own, I say.

Now, where to get this tea, you ask? Well, I ain’t been to no fancy stores in the city, but I reckon you can find it most anywhere. The grocery store, probably. Maybe even one of them little shops downtown. Don’t go payin’ too much for it, though. It’s just tea, after all. Don’t let them city slickers fool ya into thinkin’ it’s somethin’ special just ‘cause it’s got a fancy name.

I heard tell you can even buy it online now, on that internet thingy. My grandson showed me once. All sorts of stuff on there, makes my head spin. But if you ain’t got the time to go to the store, I guess that’s a good way to get it. Just make sure you ain’t gettin’ swindled, ya hear? Lots of folks out there tryin’ to make a quick buck.

And let me tell ya another thing, don’t go believin’ all them fancy health claims they make about tea. Some folks say it’ll cure this and that, make ya live forever. I say, if it tastes good and it makes ya feel good, that’s all that matters. Don’t need no scientists tellin’ me what’s good for me. I been drinkin’ tea my whole life and I’m still kickin’, ain’t I?

So, there ya have it. Earl Grey and English Breakfast tea, plain and simple. Nothin’ fancy, just good ol’ tea to warm ya up and get ya goin’. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go put the kettle on. All this talk about tea has made me thirsty.
