face oil tea tree

Okay, so today I tried out something new with my skincare routine – face oil with tea tree. I’ve always had issues with my skin, you know, the usual stuff like random breakouts and oily patches. I heard that tea tree oil is good for these kinds of problems, so I thought, why not give it a shot?

Getting Started

First, I grabbed a small bottle of this face oil that’s mixed with tea tree oil from the store. I made sure to read the label, and it seemed pretty straightforward. You just need a few drops, not the whole bottle!

The Process

  • I started by washing my face with my regular cleanser. Nothing fancy, just the usual stuff to get rid of the day’s grime.
  • Then, I patted my face dry with a towel. Not too rough, just gentle pats.
  • Next, I took the face oil and put about three drops on my palm. It smelled pretty strong, like, you know, that distinct tea tree smell.
  • I rubbed my hands together a bit to warm up the oil.
  • Then, I gently pressed the oil onto my face. I focused on the areas where I usually get breakouts, like my forehead and chin.
  • I avoided the area around my eyes because I didn’t want to get any of that oil in them. Ouch!

Initial Thoughts

At first, it felt a bit weird, you know, putting oil on my already oily skin. But it absorbed pretty quickly. My skin felt soft, not greasy, which was a nice surprise. It did tingle a little, which I guess is the tea tree oil doing its thing.

The Next Day

The real test came the next morning. I woke up and checked my skin in the mirror. Honestly, it looked a bit calmer. The redness seemed reduced, and my skin didn’t feel as oily as it usually does. I know it’s just one day, but it was a good sign.

Moving Forward

I’m going to keep using this tea tree face oil for a while and see how it goes. I’ll probably stick to using it every other day for now, just to see how my skin reacts in the long run. Hopefully, it’ll help keep those annoying breakouts at bay. I’ll keep you guys posted on the progress!

So far, so good. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re dealing with similar skin issues. Just remember to start slow and see how your skin likes it. Skincare is all about trial and error, right? We are just trying to find what works for us.
