- green tea and raspberry
So, I got this idea to make a drink with green tea and raspberry. It sounds good, right? I mean, green tea is healthy and raspberries are delicious, so why not combine them?
First, I brewed some green tea. I just used a regular green tea bag and let it steep for like 3 minutes. I didn’t want it to get too bitter, you know? While the tea was brewing, I grabbed a handful of fresh raspberries. I washed them and then mushed them up a bit with a fork. I guess you could use frozen ones too, but fresh is always better, in my opinion.
After the tea was done, I took out the tea bag and let it cool down for a bit. I didn’t want to burn myself, obviously. Then I poured the mashed raspberries into a glass and added some ice cubes. Once the tea was cool enough, I poured it over the raspberries and ice.
I took a sip, and it was pretty good! It was refreshing and not too sweet. The green tea and raspberry flavors went well together. It’s definitely something I’d make again, especially on a hot day. I might even try adding some other fruits next time, like maybe some blueberries or strawberries. Or maybe even a splash of lemonade. The possibilities are endless!
