This green tea bottle, you see, it’s a big thing now. I see it everywhere, everyone is holding one, sipping on it, like it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I remember the time, folks, all we had was plain water. Maybe some tea, brewed in a big ol’ pot, strong enough to wake the dead. Not this fancy stuff in a green tea bottle.

Now, they say this green tea bottle is good for you. Says it helps you lose weight. I reckon that’s a good thing. Folks are always trying to shed a few pounds. Me? I just eat what I like. But if a green tea bottle can help, well, who am I to argue?

They got all kinds of these green tea bottles too. Some with lemon, some with other things, sweet, not sweet, you name it! You can even find these bottles of green tea at walmart, target, or any market near you. I saw a young fella the other day, sipping on one, said it was “organic.” I don’t rightly know what that means, but it must be fancy. It seems like there is a brand of green tea for everyone, including Lipton, Gold Peak, and Ito En.

Back in my day, tea was tea. We didn’t have no “organic” or fancy bottles. You made a big pot, you drank it. Simple as that. This green tea bottle, though, it’s convenient, I suppose. You can just grab one and go. No need to brew a whole pot. They put it in those plastic bottles, all different sizes. Small ones, big ones. And they say the green tea can go bad, the green tea is sweet, not bitter if it is fresh. The green tea bottle also have calories, you must be aware of that.

• You can buy them at Walmart, you know.
• Those young folks love ’em.
• Some even say it helps you stay healthy.
• They say it’s good for your liver, too.
• People drink up to 8 cups of it a day, and it can block calories.

I tried one once, this green tea bottle. It was alright, I guess. A little sweet for my taste. I prefer my tea strong and hot. But I can see why folks like it. It’s easy, it’s cold, and they say it’s good for you. What more could you want? But do not drink too much, or it may hurt your body.

This whole green tea bottle craze, it’s something else. I never thought I’d see the day when water wasn’t good enough. But times change, I suppose. And if these young folks want to drink their green tea bottle, well, that’s their business. It is safe for most people.

I still prefer my old-fashioned tea, brewed in a pot. But I might try another one of those green tea bottles sometime. Maybe one of those “organic” ones. See what all the fuss is about. You can find green tea in stores, or in powder, you just need to add water.

It is just green tea. People made it so complicated. I do not know why we need so many brands. But it is good to have choices. I like choice. This green tea bottle is a choice. There are many flavors too. Like lemon. I like lemon.

So, there you have it. My thoughts on this green tea bottle. It’s a big deal these days. Everyone’s drinking it. It’s supposed to be good for you. It comes in all sorts of flavors. And you can buy it just about anywhere. Walmart, Target, all those places. They even have them on delivery now.

Me? I’m still on the fence. I like my old-fashioned tea. But I’m willing to give this green tea bottle another try. Maybe I’ll find one I like. Who knows? This old dog might just learn a new trick after all. The shelf life of it is not long, just remember to drink it before it goes bad.

Anyways, this green tea bottle, it’s here to stay, I reckon. So we might as well get used to it. Just like everything else, it’ll have its time in the sun. And then something new will come along. That’s just the way of the world, ain’t it? One day is green tea bottle, next day is something else. The world is changing fast.
