You know, this green tea, it’s the good stuff. That tea, it ain’t just water, you know. It’s like, somethin’ special. I heard folks sayin’ it’s good for ya. They say it keeps ya young. I don’t know ’bout all that, but it sure tastes good.

That green tea, they got all kinds now. Plain ol’ green tea, that’s good. But sometimes, you want somethin’ a little different. They got this green tea with lemon. That lemon, it makes it kinda tangy, you know? Like a little kick. Good on a hot day, that is.

I seen this place, what’s it called… Kung Fu somethin’. They got all kinds of drinks. They put that green tea in all of them. My oh my, that place, they got all kinds of things in them teas. They got this thing, chia seeds. It is good for you, I reckon. They put them little black seeds in that tea, it makes it kinda, well, I don’t know, interesting, I guess.

They say that green tea is good for ya skin. Makes ya look younger, they say. I don’t know about that, but I do like the taste. And that color, that bright green, it’s just pretty, ain’t it? Like a spring day, all fresh and new.

That Kung Fu place, they got this one green tea with fruit in it. Lychee, they call it. It’s sweet, that lychee. And they got pineapple and berries, too. I like that fruit in my tea. Makes it like a little treat, you know?

Then there’s this other place, Talking Teacup. Sounds fancy, don’t it? They got sandwiches and them little quiches there. And desserts, oh, the desserts! They probably got green tea there, too. I bet it’s the fancy kind. They don’t serve no lunch on Sundays though. I always forget that.

That Kung Fu place, though, they got food, too. Chinese food, they say. Spring rolls and soup. I like them spring rolls. Crispy, they are. They got lots of stuff on their menu, that Kung Fu place. You can even order it online, they say. I don’t know ’bout that, though. I like to see what I’m gettin’, you know?

You know what else? That Kung Fu place, it’s right there on State Street. Easy to find. I seen folks sittin’ outside there, drinkin’ their green tea. Looks like a nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

One time, I saw this green tea, they called it matcha. It was all ground up, like powder. They mixed it with lemonade. I tried it at that place, Teavana, or somethin’. It was pretty good, kinda sweet. That matcha, it’s strong, though. Wakes you right up!

I reckon there’s all kinds of green tea drinks out there. You just gotta try ’em and see what you like. That’s what I always say. Don’t be afraid to try somethin’ new. You might just find somethin’ you really like.

This green tea, it’s good with a little somethin’ sweet, I think. Maybe a cookie, or a little piece of cake. Or them sandwiches at that Talking Teacup place. I bet they’d be good with green tea.

I remember when I was little, we didn’t have all these fancy green tea drinks. We just had plain ol’ tea. But it was still good. We’d sit on the porch and drink our tea and watch the sun go down. Good times, those were.

Nowadays, you can get green tea anywhere, it seems like. Every place has it on their menu. It’s popular, that green tea. I guess folks finally figured out what’s good for ’em. And it is good. Good and tasty, and that’s what matters, right?

They got that green tea at the grocery store, too. In little bags. You just pour hot water over it, and there you go. Green tea. Easy peasy. I like it that way sometimes, too. When I’m at home, that is.

When I’m out and about, I like to try the fancy ones. Like at that Kung Fu place, or the Talking Teacup. It’s a treat, you know? Somethin’ special. I always feel good after I drink some green tea. Makes me feel, I don’t know, refreshed, I guess. Like I can take on the world!

So, yeah, green tea. It’s good stuff. You should try it sometime. If you ain’t never had it, you don’t know what you’re missin’. Just don’t drink it at night. Keep you awake.
