white tea
Okay, let’s talk about this tea I tried the other day – Harney & Sons Milky Oolong. I saw it online and, you know, the description sounded pretty interesting. It kept mentioning stuff like “creamy” and “sweet,” which, I gotta admit, got me curious. I’m a big fan of oolong teas in general, but a “milky” one? That was new to me.
So, I ordered it. The price wasn’t too bad, I think around $12, maybe a bit more. When the package arrived, I opened it right away. The leaves were a dark green color, just like the description said. And the smell! It was really something else. I took a big whiff, and it was definitely sweet and kinda creamy, like they promised. I was getting pretty excited to try it at this point.
I heated up some water, not boiling, you know, just hot enough. Then I steeped the tea leaves for a few minutes. The color of the tea turned out to be a light, pale green. I poured myself a cup and took a sip.
I finished the whole cup pretty quickly. It was a really enjoyable experience. I’ve been drinking it regularly since then, usually in the afternoons. It’s a nice, relaxing tea. Not too strong, not too weak, just right.
If you like oolong teas, or even if you’re just looking for something a little different, I’d say give this one a try. It’s a good quality tea, and the flavor is really unique. Plus, it is cheap!.
