Well, let me tell you ’bout this here Harry Potter tea set, ya know? It ain’t like them fancy cups your grandma used to hide in the cupboard, no sir. This here’s for them youngsters who like them wizard movies, the one with the boy with the scar, Harry somethin’-or-other.
First off, I saw this picture online, it was a whole bunch of tea tins, like a whole darn army of ’em. Forty-eighty teabags they say! That’s a whole lotta tea, enough to make your bladder float like a bobber in a pond! And not just the bags, mind you, but them loose leaf thingies too. Them fancy folks call ‘em “blends”, but I just call it good ol’ tea leaves.
They say it’s a “collector’s bundle”, whatever that means. Sounds like somethin’ for folks with too much time and money on their hands, if you ask me. But, I reckon if you got a kiddo who’s all gaga over that Harry fella, this might just make their day. It’s like them toys they used to sell, only now you can drink outta it.
I ain’t read them books myself, too busy milkin’ cows and tendin’ to chickens, but my grandkid, little Timmy, he’s all about that magic stuff. He tells me all about wands and spells and potions. Heck, sometimes I feel like he’s speakin’ a different language! He’d probably go hog wild for somethin’ like this tea set. Maybe he could even use it to make one of them “potions” he’s always talkin’ about. Though I told him, “Timmy, you ain’t mixin’ no weird stuff in my kitchen, ya hear?”
The website, or whatever you call it, says it’s “crafted with care”. Well, I sure hope so, considerin’ how much they probably charge for it! It better not fall apart after you use it a few times, like that cheap rake I bought last summer. Broke clean in half the first time I tried to use it to gather leaves.
And they go on and on about how it’s a “magical addition” to your collection. Magical, ha! I’ll tell you what’s magical – gettin’ a good night’s sleep without them darn roosters crowin’ at the crack of dawn. But I suppose if you’re into all that fantasy stuff, this here tea set might be right up your alley. Maybe you can even invite your friends over, “brew a potion”, as they say, and “enjoy a cozy cup of tea together”. Just don’t expect me to join ya. I’ll stick to my coffee, strong and black, just the way I like it.
Now, I ain’t no expert on that Harry fella’s world. My grandkid tried to explain it to me once. Something about a “Chamber of Secrets” and a “British author”. Sounded like a whole lotta hooey to me. He even told me I should “go to the Harry Potter wiki” and “start studying”. Studyin’! At my age? I’d rather be watchin’ the grass grow! He was talkin’ about “summaries” and “note cards” and “practice questions”. Like I’m gonna take a test on this stuff! I told him, “Timmy, grandma ain’t got time for that nonsense. I got chores to do!”
So, there you have it. That’s the lowdown on this here Harry Potter tea set, as best as I can tell ya. It’s got tea, it’s got pictures of them wizard kids, and it probably costs a pretty penny. If you got a young’un who loves them Harry Potter stories, they might just jump for joy if you get ’em this. Me? I’ll stick to my plain ol’ teacups, the ones that don’t cost an arm and a leg. But hey, to each their own, I always say.
