Different Kinds of China Black Tea

Now, there’s different kinds of this China black tea. I ain’t no expert, but I know a few. There’s one, it’s called… Keemun, I think. That’s a good one. And another one, it’s got a funny name… Lapsang Souchong? That one’s kinda smoky. Not my favorite, but some folks love it.

Then there’s that Dian Hong. That’s from Yunnan. They say it’s real good. I don’t remember if I ever tried it. My memory ain’t what it used to be. But I bet it’s good, if it comes from China.

Why Drink China Black Tea?

Well, why not? It’s good for ya. Keeps ya warm in the winter. And it wakes you up in the mornin’. Better than coffee, I think. Coffee gives me the jitters. China black tea, it just makes me feel good.

They say it’s got antioxidants. Don’t know what those are, but they sound important. Probably why I’m still kickin’, huh? Drinkin’ all that tea all these years.

And it’s just nice, you know? Sittin’ down with a cup of tea. Watchin’ the world go by. It’s relaxin’. We all need a little relaxin’ these days, don’t we?

Like I said, I like it plain. But you can put whatever you want in it. Some folks like honey. Or lemon. I knew a fella once, he put whiskey in his tea! Can you believe that? Said it helped him sleep. I don’t know ’bout that.

Just make sure you use good water. That’s the secret. Good water makes good tea. And don’t steep it too long. Unless you like it bitter. Some folks do. Not me. I like it just right.

And use a good pot. Don’t need nothin’ fancy. Just a good, sturdy pot. Like the one I’ve had for, well, I don’t know how long. A long time. Long time. It’s still a good pot.
