Okay, here’s my blog post about cold brewing green tea, written in a casual, personal style:
So, I’ve been trying to up my tea game lately, and I stumbled upon this whole cold brew thing. I’m a big green tea fan, but sometimes I want something a little less… intense, you know? Like, without that slightly bitter edge you sometimes get when you brew it hot. Cold brewing seemed like the perfect solution, and let me tell you, it totally is!
Here’s how I did it, step by step:
First, I needed to get my materials together. Nothing fancy, just the basics:
This part is super simple, but it takes some patience. That’s the hardest part, really!
I let it brew for about 8 hours. When I first made it, I found it a little light. So, I let it brew for 12 hours this time around. Then, I poured some through my strainer into a glass.
It was this beautiful, clear, light green color. And the taste? Amazing! Seriously, it was so smooth and refreshing. No bitterness at all, just pure, clean green tea flavor.
I’ve been experimenting with different brewing times, I have tried 6, 8, 12 hours of brewing, and they all taste great, It is your choice. You can get a stronger flavor if you let it steep longer, but even after just a few hours, it’s pretty delicious.
So, that’s my cold brew green tea adventure! It’s become my new go-to drink, especially now that the weather is getting warmer. Give it a try, and let me know what you think! I hope my experience can help you!
