Alright, so you wanna know how to make some white tea, huh? It ain’t rocket science, let me tell ya. It’s easier than pie, and I make some darn good pies, if I do say so myself.

First off, you gotta get yourself some of that white tea. Now, I ain’t talkin’ ’bout no fancy stuff with long, complicated names. Just plain ol’ white tea. They got different kinds, yeah, but don’t you go gettin’ your head all twisted up about it. They all pretty much the same when it comes to makin’ a cup. Just pick one and let’s get going!

  • First thing’s first, water. You need water, good clean water. Don’t go usin’ no water that’s been sittin’ around for days. Fresh is best, like them eggs I get from my chickens every mornin’.
  • Now, heat that water up. Not too hot, mind you. You don’t want it boilin’ like a mad kettle. Just hot enough, you know? Like, when it starts to make them little bubbles, but not too many. They say 170 degrees or somethin’, but I ain’t got no fancy thermometer. I just eyeball it. Been doin’ it this way for years, and nobody’s complained yet.

Okay, water’s hot. Now, you gotta put your tea leaves in somethin’. You got one of them little strainer thingies? Or maybe a teapot with a strainer in it? That’ll work. If you ain’t got none of that fancy stuff, a clean piece of cloth will do in a pinch, just like how my grandma did, God rest her soul. Just make sure it’s clean, ya hear? Don’t want no dirt in your tea. That ain’t gonna taste good, no sirree.

Put about two spoonfuls of them tea leaves in your strainer or whatever you’re usin’. Don’t go packin’ ’em in there too tight. They need room to breathe, like them flowers I got growin’ in my garden. Give them space, just enough is the best. Now, pour that hot water over the leaves. Slow and easy, don’t go splashin’ it everywhere. You don’t want to waste a drop of that tea.

Now, you gotta let it sit. They call it “steepin’,” I think. Sounds fancy, but all it means is you let the leaves soak in the water for a bit. How long? Well, that depends. Some folks like it strong, some folks like it weak. I say 7 or 10 minutes is just about right, not too strong and not too weak. You can try it different ways and see what you like best. It’s your tea, you can make it however you darn well please.

Once it’s done steepin’, take out the leaves. You don’t want them floatin’ around in your cup, do ya? Now, pour that tea into a cup. Careful, it’s hot! You don’t wanna burn your tongue, I tell ya that! And that’s it! You made yourself some white tea. See? Told ya it was easy.

Now, you can drink it plain, or you can add a little somethin’ to it. Some folks like honey, some folks like lemon. Me? I like it just the way it is. Pure and simple, like life should be. But you do what you want. It’s your tea, enjoy it your own way. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy your cup of tea. You deserve it.

So there you have it. No need to go to some fancy tea shop and pay a whole lotta money for somethin’ you can make yourself at home. Just follow them steps, and you’ll have a nice warm cup of white tea whenever you want. And don’t you go worryin’ about doin’ it wrong. There ain’t no wrong way to make tea, as long as you like it. That’s all that matters, ain’t it?

And if you want to make more, well, just do it all over again. It’s as simple as that. No big secret or special trick, just good ol’ fashioned tea-makin’. Now go on and make yourself a cup. You’ll thank me later.
