Hey everyone, it’s your boy back with another home experiment! Today, I tried making white clover tea. I’ve seen those little white flowers all over my yard, and I figured, why not see if I can make something with them?

Getting Started

First, I went outside and picked a bunch of white clover flowers. I made sure to pick them from a spot where I know no one sprays chemicals or anything. Gotta keep it natural, you know?

The Cleaning Process

Next, I brought the flowers inside and gave them a good rinse. I just used cold water and swished them around in a bowl to get rid of any dirt or little bugs. Nobody wants extra protein in their tea, right?

Brewing the Tea

  • I put the clean clover flowers in a mug. I didn’t measure, just eyeballed it.
  • Then, I boiled some water and poured it over the flowers.
  • I let it steep for, like, 10 minutes? I think? I just waited until the water turned a light yellowish color.

The Taste Test

Okay, so after it steeped, I took a sip. It wasn’t bad! It had a mild, slightly sweet taste. Honestly, it was kinda like a weak chamomile tea. Not super flavorful, but definitely drinkable.

Final Thoughts

Would I make white clover tea again? Maybe! It was super easy, and it’s kinda cool to make tea from something I just picked from my backyard. It’s not gonna replace my morning coffee, but it’s a fun little experiment. If you’ve got white clovers around, give it a try!
