Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Jin Xuan Oolong tea. I ain’t no fancy tea expert, mind you, but I know what tastes good and what don’t.

What is this Jin Xuan Oolong, anyway?

Some folks call it “Golden Lily,” which sounds mighty pretty, I reckon. Others call it “Milk Oolong,” prob’ly ’cause it’s kinda creamy and smooth. It ain’t got no milk in it, though, don’t you be fooled. It’s just the way it is, all natural like.

This tea, it’s all curled up into these little balls, like tiny snails. Cute little fellers, they are. When you pour hot water on ’em, they open right up and let out their flavor. It smells like flowers, not too strong, just a nice, soft smell.

The taste? Oh, it’s somethin’ special.

  • It’s kinda sweet, but not like candy or nothin’.
  • It’s smooth, real smooth, like silk on your tongue.
  • And it leaves a nice taste in your mouth after you swallow it, kinda sweet and flowery.

This tea, it ain’t dark and bitter like some teas I’ve tried. It’s light and golden, like sunshine in a cup. Pretty to look at, too. Makes you feel calm and peaceful, not all jittery like that coffee stuff.

Where does this Jin Xuan Oolong come from?

Well, I ain’t been there myself, but they say it comes from far away, from places with mountains and mists. Places where they know how to grow good tea. They take good care of these tea plants, I heard. Pick the leaves just right, and then they twist ’em and turn ’em and dry ’em out just so. It’s a whole lotta work, but it’s worth it, I tell ya.

How to make a good cup of Jin Xuan Oolong?

It ain’t rocket science, that’s for sure. Just boil some water, but not too hot. You don’t wanna scald them leaves, ya know. Then you put a spoonful of them little tea balls in your cup, or in a teapot if you’re fancy. Pour the hot water over them and let ’em sit for a bit. Few minutes, maybe. Then you pour the tea into your cup and drink it up. You can add a little honey if you like it sweeter, but it’s good all on its own, I reckon.

Is Jin Xuan Oolong good for ya?

Well, I ain’t no doctor, but I heard tell it’s good for your digestion, helps ya relax, and maybe even keeps ya from gettin’ sick. I just know it makes me feel good, and that’s good enough for me.

Why I like Jin Xuan Oolong

I ain’t always been a tea drinker, mind you. Used to drink coffee, strong and black. But that stuff made me all jumpy and nervous. This Jin Xuan Oolong, though, it’s different. It’s gentle and calming. I can drink it all day long and it don’t bother me none. It’s a good way to start the day, a nice way to relax in the afternoon, and a perfect way to end the evening. It’s just a good, honest cup of tea. Nothin’ fancy, just good.
