Alright, let’s talk about this iced tea peach oolong I made today. It was a bit of an experiment, but I think it turned out pretty good.

First, I grabbed some peach oolong tea bags from my cupboard. I wasn’t sure how many to use, so I just went with three. Then I boiled some water in my kettle. Once it was boiling, I poured it into a big pitcher and tossed in the tea bags. I let it steep for a good while, maybe around 10 minutes? I wanted that strong oolong flavor, you know?

While the tea was steeping, I sliced up a fresh peach. I figured that adding some actual fruit would give it a more natural peach taste. After the tea had steeped, I removed the tea bags and added the peach slices to the pitcher.

Here’s where I got a little experimental:

  • I added a squeeze of honey, because I wanted a touch of sweetness without making it too sugary.
  • Then, I stirred everything together and popped it in the fridge to chill.

I waited a few hours, which was the hardest part, honestly. Once it was nice and cold, I poured myself a glass over ice, and it was pretty refreshing! The oolong flavor was definitely there, and the peach was subtle but noticeable. The honey added just the right amount of sweetness. It was not bad, especially for a first try. The oolong flavor was good.

Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out. I might try adding a bit more peach next time, or maybe even a different type of fruit. But for now, this iced tea peach oolong is a winner in my book!
