Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “kale and green tea spinach cleanser” thing all over the internet and, honestly, I was curious. My skin’s been kinda blah lately, so I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, it’s all-natural stuff, right?
First, I gathered all the ingredients. I already had some spinach and green tea bags at home. The kale was a bit of a mission – had to go to two different stores before I found some that looked decent. Don’t skimp on the fresh stuff, guys!
Next, I threw a handful of kale, a handful of spinach, and a couple of opened green tea bags into my blender. I added some water, just enough to get things moving. This part was kinda messy, and I definitely splashed some green goop on my counter. Whoops!
I blended the heck out of it. Seriously, I probably let it go for a good two minutes. You want it super smooth, no chunks, otherwise, it’s gonna feel weird on your face.
Then came the moment of truth. I scooped some of the mixture out and slathered it onto my face. It felt…cold. And a little slimy. Definitely not like the fancy cleansers I’m used to. I massaged it in for a bit, trying to channel my inner spa guru.
After a few minutes, I rinsed it all off with warm water. This took a while, I’m not gonna lie. Little green bits kept sticking to my hairline. Eventually, I got it all off, and… my skin actually felt pretty good! It was soft, and maybe even a little brighter? Placebo effect? Maybe. But I’ll take it!
So, would I do it again? Probably! It’s a cheap and easy way to give your skin a little boost. Just be prepared for a bit of a mess, and maybe don’t do it right before a big date or anything. But for a chill night in, it’s a fun little DIY skincare experiment.
