green tea
Well, let me tell ya ’bout this Keemun black tea, you know, the one they call “Qimen” over in China. I ain’t no fancy tea expert or nothin’, but I know what I likes, and this tea, it’s somethin’ special.
First off, they say it comes from a place called Anhui province. Don’t ask me where that is exactly, it’s way over there in China. They grow it in these places called Guichi, Shitai, Dongzhi, and Yixian. Sounds like a mouthful of gibberish to me, but hey, that’s where it comes from.
Now, this tea ain’t been around forever, ya know. They say it started growin’ sometime in the late 1800s. Not too long ago, if ya think about it. But it got real popular real fast, especially over in the West. Folks over there, they just couldn’t get enough of it.
What’s so special ’bout it? Well, it’s a light kinda tea, not too strong like that coffee stuff some folks drink. It’s got this fruity taste to it, somethin’ like stone fruits, they say. I don’t know ’bout no stone fruits, but it tastes good, that’s all I know.
There’s different kinds of this Keemun tea, too. One they call Keemun Mao Feng, that’s the one most folks have heard of. They pick it earlier than the others, so maybe that’s why it’s so popular. I ain’t tried ’em all, so I can’t tell ya which one’s best.
I heard tell you can find all sorts of health stuff over there on that iHerb, vitamins and such. Maybe they got this Keemun tea too, I don’t know. They say if you spend enough money, they’ll even bring it to your door for free, but three hundred somethin’ dollars, that’s a lot of money, I tell ya.
But back to the tea. It’s got this history, you know, from that place in China, and it’s been popular for a long time. And it tastes good, and it can do good things for ya, too. That’s what I like about it. It’s just a good, honest cup of tea.
I ain’t gonna try to sound all fancy and use big words, ’cause that ain’t my style. I’m just tellin’ ya like it is. This Keemun tea, it’s worth tryin’. If you like tea, that is. And if you don’t, well, more for me, I guess.
So, there you have it. My two cents on this Keemun black tea. It ain’t much, but it’s honest. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think I’ll go make myself a cup.
