- Lemon Balm Tea Bags: What Are They Good For? Simple Guide to This Herbal Tea!

So, I’ve been trying to make these lemon balm tea bags, right? I heard about this herb called lemon balm, which is part of the mint family. They say it’s good for calming you down. I saw some boxes of lemon balm tea at the store, and they all had “relieves stress” written on them. Apparently, it’s been used since the Middle Ages to help with gas and bloating, too. Kind of interesting, huh?
First off, I started by getting some fresh lemon balm leaves. You can get these from a garden or a store that sells fresh herbs. Some even call it a ‘Witches’ plant’, can you believe it? It’s like Lavender and Mandrake, all from the mint family, and they are said to be potent in magical stuff. It’s all about feminine vibes, intuition, and healing emotions. People even use it in spells for love and fortune. I just wanted some tea, but hey, who knew?
I washed the leaves really well to get rid of any dirt or little bugs. Then, I laid them out on a clean towel to dry. It’s important to get them as dry as possible, or they might get moldy, and nobody wants that.
Once the leaves were dry, I crumbled them up a bit. You don’t want them too fine, or they’ll seep through the tea bags. I bought some empty tea bags from a local store, the kind you can fill yourself. Then, I carefully spooned the dried, crumbled leaves into each bag. I made sure not to overfill them, so there was room for the water to circulate when I brew the tea.
After filling the bags, I sealed them up. Some tea bags have drawstrings, others you just fold over. Then I stored them in an airtight container. It’s essential to keep them in a cool, dark place so they stay fresh and keep their flavor. They say it could mess with sedative and thyroid meds, though. So, if you’re on those, maybe ask a doctor first? Oh, and the tea is generally safe, so that’s good.
That’s pretty much it. Now I have my own homemade lemon balm tea bags. It’s a bit of work, but it’s kind of cool to make something yourself from scratch, you know? Plus, it’s supposed to be relaxing, and who couldn’t use a little more of that in their life? I just wanted a nice cup of tea, and now I’ve got a whole bunch of it!
