black tea
Okay, here’s my blog post about making lemon green tea, written in the style you requested:
So, the other day I was craving something refreshing, not too sweet, and kinda healthy. I decided to whip up some lemon green tea. It’s super simple, and I figured I’d share my “process” – if you can even call it that, haha.
First, I grabbed a green tea bag. Nothing fancy, just the regular kind I always have in the cupboard. I boiled some water in my trusty old kettle. While that was happening, I took a lemon and sliced it in half.
Once the water was boiling, I poured it into my favorite mug (it’s got a cute cat on it, don’t judge). I dunked the tea bag in and let it steep for, like, 3 minutes? I’m not super precise with this, I just kinda eyeball it until the water turns a nice light green-ish color.
Then, I removed the tea bag and squeezed in some lemon juice. Again, no measuring here, just a good squeeze from one of the lemon halves. I like it pretty lemony, so I went for a generous amount.
I gave it a good stir, and that’s pretty much it! Sometimes, if I’m feeling fancy, I’ll add a tiny bit of honey, but honestly, it’s good as is. Oh, and I sometimes throw in a few ice cubes if I want it cold. It is refreshing to drink a chill one.
I sipped my freshly made lemon green tea, and it was perfect. Just the right amount of tartness and that lovely green tea flavor.
And it tastes great! Easy peasy, lemon squeezy, right?
This how my whole process went down! It always makes my day!
