Alright, guys, let’s talk about my latest experiment: lemon tea green tea. I’ve been hearing a lot about the supposed health benefits and I got curious.
So, first, I got some green tea bags and lemons. Pretty basic stuff, right? I boiled some water and steeped the green tea bag for about 3 minutes. While that was happening, I sliced up a lemon.
Then came the taste test. It was definitely a bit tart, but not in a bad way. I actually kind of liked the refreshing kick. I decided to drink it every day for a week, just to see what would happen.
Honestly, I didn’t notice any dramatic changes. I mean, I didn’t suddenly lose 20 pounds or anything. But, I did feel a bit more energized throughout the day. It might be the caffeine in the green tea, or maybe it was just a placebo effect, but it worked. And I found myself reaching for this instead of sugary drinks, so that’s a win in my book. My stomach felt a bit weird a couple of times, maybe from all the acid. And once, I got a headache after drinking a big mug. I read that too much can mess with your sleep, and even cause anxiety and headaches.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience. I think I’ll keep drinking it, but maybe not every day. And I’ll definitely stick to just half a lemon, ’cause that acid can be a bit much. I can see that it might help with digestion and weight loss for some people. But for me, it was more about the energy boost and the fact that it’s a healthier alternative to soda.
So, there you have it, my little adventure with lemon tea green tea. Not exactly life-changing, but hey, every little bit helps, right?
