Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with Lipton Darjeeling Black Tea:
So, I’ve been trying to get into different kinds of teas lately. I usually just grab whatever’s on sale, you know, the basic stuff. But I saw this Lipton Darjeeling Black Tea and figured, why not? I’d heard Darjeeling was supposed to be fancy.
First thing I did was boil some water. Nothing special, just my usual electric kettle. While that was going, I opened up the box of tea bags. They were individually wrapped, which I guess is nice for keeping them fresh.
I grabbed a mug – my favorite one with the chipped handle – and popped a tea bag in. Once the water was ready, I poured it over the tea bag. I let it sit there for, oh, I don’t know, maybe three or four minutes? I wasn’t really timing it, just kind of eyeballed it until the color looked dark enough.
I fished out the tea bag with a spoon and gave it a little squeeze. I’m not even sure if that’s the right way to do it, but it’s what I always do.
I drank the whole mug while I was working on my computer. It was a nice change of pace from my usual coffee, I guess. I even do a little work today.
Would I buy it again? Maybe. It wasn’t a life-changing experience, but it was decent. If I saw it on sale, I’d probably pick it up. I am planning to drink the others in the following days. For now, it’s a perfectly fine cup of tea, especially if you’re looking for something a little different from the usual stuff.
