Okay, so I’ve been on this tea kick lately, and let me tell you, I stumbled upon something called “Maharaja Oolong Tea.” Sounds fancy, right? Well, it kinda is. I saw it online and thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First thing I did was, I hit up a couple of online stores. I mean, I checked out some general stores like Amazon and some more tea-specific ones. They have it listed for like, $15 to $30, depending on where you look and how much you’re getting.
I found one that was selling just the Maharaja Earl Grey Oolong Tea, and there was another one with like, a set of different chai teas. I decided to go for a smaller bag at first, just to see if I’d even like it. Ordered it, and it arrived in a few days. Pretty standard stuff.
When I opened the package, the smell was the first thing that hit me. It was all cinnamon, cardamom, and a bit of ginger. I’m not gonna lie, it smelled amazing. I brewed up a cup, following the instructions on the bag—hot water, steep for a few minutes, you know the drill.
The taste? It was like a mix of that classic Earl Grey flavor but with a spicy kick. I could definitely taste the spices, but it wasn’t overpowering. It was a nice balance, for real. I tried it hot first, which was great, especially since it was a bit chilly outside. It was really a good choice.
Later, I made some iced tea with it too. Just brewed it a bit stronger, let it cool, and poured it over ice. It was pretty refreshing, I gotta say. So yeah, this Maharaja Oolong Tea turned out to be a good find. I might try that chai tea set next time.
Overall, it was a solid purchase. The tea is good, the price is okay, and it’s fun to try something new. If you’re into trying different teas, I’d say give this one a go.
