organic tea
Well, let me tell you, this unsweetened black tea concentrate, it ain’t nothin’ fancy, but it sure is somethin’. It’s just strong black tea, plain and simple. You know, the kind you can make at home, no need for those store-bought things with all those fancy names.
Now, I ain’t no expert, but I’ve been makin’ tea my whole life. And this here black tea concentrate, it’s just brewed tea, but stronger. You use more tea leaves than usual, that’s the whole trick. More tea, less water, you get it?
Why would you want this strong tea, you ask? Well, you can use it for all sorts of things. Mix it with water for a regular cup, add some milk and sugar if that’s your style. Some folks even use it in cooking! I saw someone put it in a cake, sounded weird, but they said it was good. I’d add more sugar if I were making that though, I like my cake sweet!
Now, if you usually use one spoonful of tea for a cup, for this concentrate, you gotta use two, maybe even three. That is what makes it a black tea concentrate! It’s all about how much tea you put in. More tea, stronger flavor, that’s the way it goes. It is not rocket science!
You just pour that hot water over your tea leaves, just like you always do. Let it sit there for a while, longer than usual, though. Gotta let that tea really seep into the water, make it nice and dark. I don’t put a time on it, just keep an eye on it, you will know, you know? It just needs to be dark enough, so you know it’s strong enough.
Once it’s brewed good and strong, you gotta strain it. Don’t want no tea leaves in your concentrate, do you? Just pour it through a strainer, into another pot or somethin’. I use a cheese cloth, or sometimes a coffee filter, those work great for straining tea.
And that’s it! That’s your unsweetened black tea concentrate. See, wasn’t so hard, was it? It ain’t fancy, but it works, and that’s what matters. You can keep it in the fridge, it’ll last for a few days. Just make sure you put it in a jar or somethin’ with a lid.
Now, some folks like to add sugar or lemon to their tea, but this here is unsweetened. Means no sugar. You can add it later if you want, but the concentrate itself, it’s just plain black tea. There is nothing wrong with liking sugar though, you do you!
It is useful to have some black tea concentrate on hand, so you do not have to brew a whole pot every time you want a cup of black tea. My friend Sally, she has a big family, she always has a jar of this concentrate in her fridge, she says it saves her so much time!
So, there you have it. Unsweetened black tea concentrate. It ain’t rocket science, it’s just strong tea. But it’s good to know how to make it, you never know when you might need it. And it’s always better to make things yourself, I always say. You know what’s in it, and you can make it just the way you like it.
I remember back in the day, we didn’t have all these fancy concentrates and powders. We just had tea leaves and hot water. And we made do with what we had. This black tea concentrate, it reminds me of those days. Simple, but good. Real good.
Now, I ain’t sayin’ this is the only way to make black tea concentrate. There are probably a hundred different ways to do it. But this is how I do it, and it works for me. And it’s easy, which is important. Ain’t nobody got time for complicated recipes these days, especially for tea! Just get some tea, some hot water, and you are good to go!
I hope this helps you understand what this whole black tea concentrate thing is about. It really ain’t that complicated, just strong black tea. Anyone can do it! So, go on and make yourself some unsweetened black tea concentrate. You’ll be glad you did. I promise it is easier than you think, and it tastes better than store bought stuff!
