organic tea
Alright, let’s talk about this mint green tea, the Twinings kind. You know, the one in the little paper bags? Yeah, that one. I ain’t no fancy tea expert or nothin’, but I drink this stuff sometimes, and I figured I’d tell ya what I think about it.
First off, the taste. It’s kinda…minty, ya know? Like, if you chewed on a mint leaf, but not so strong. And then there’s that green tea taste underneath it. It ain’t bitter or nothin’, which is good, ’cause I don’t like bitter stuff. It’s just…pleasant. Easy to drink, ya know? I usually just boil some water in my kettle, dunk a bag in a cup, and let it sit for a bit. Sometimes I add a little honey, if I’m feelin’ fancy. But mostly I just drink it plain.
Now, I heard some folks sayin’ this tea is good for ya. Somethin’ about lowerin’ that blood pressure thing. And somethin’ about keepin’ your heart healthy. I dunno about all that science stuff, but if it’s good for me, then hey, I ain’t complainin’. I mean, I ain’t gettin’ any younger, so I gotta take care of myself somehow, right? I ain’t got time for bein’ sick. Gotta feed the chickens, tend the garden, you know how it is.
I also heard it’s got that…caff-feen stuff in it. Not a whole lot, but enough to wake ya up a little. That’s good for me in the mornin’s, when I’m feelin’ kinda sluggish. But I don’t drink it too late in the day, or I won’t be able to sleep. And a good night’s sleep is important, let me tell ya. Nothin’ worse than tossin’ and turnin’ all night.
I usually buy this tea at the store, down the road. They got a whole bunch of teas there, but I always stick with this Twinings stuff. I guess I’m just used to it. I heard you can get it online too, at that Amazon place, or maybe that eBay thing. But I ain’t too good with that computer stuff. I’d rather just go to the store and get it myself. That way, I know what I’m gettin’, ya know? And I can pick up some other stuff while I’m there, like milk and bread and maybe some cookies for the grandkids.
Twinings also got other kinds of tea, I think. But like I said, I like this mint green one. It’s just…simple. No fuss, no muss. Just a nice, warm cup of tea to drink when I’m sittin’ on the porch, watchin’ the birds. Or when I’m readin’ the newspaper. Or when I’m just…doin’ nothin’ at all. Sometimes that’s the best thing to do, ya know? Just sit and relax and enjoy the quiet.
Now, some folks like their tea strong, and some folks like it weak. I like mine somewhere in the middle. Not too strong, not too weak. Just right. And I usually only drink one cup at a time. I ain’t one of them fancy folks who drinks a whole pot of tea. One cup is enough for me. Unless it’s really cold outside, then maybe I’ll have two. But that’s about it. I ain’t got time to be sittin’ around drinkin’ tea all day.
So, there you have it. My thoughts on Twinings mint green tea. It’s a good, simple tea. It tastes good, it’s easy to make, and maybe it’s even good for ya. I ain’t no doctor, but I reckon it can’t hurt. And that’s good enough for me. So if you’re lookin’ for a new tea to try, give this one a shot. You might like it. Or you might not. Everyone’s different, ya know? But hey, at least you tried it.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, I gotta go feed them chickens.
