- Need an Eye Cream? Black Tea Eye Concentrate is a Top Choice.
organic tea
Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “black tea eye concentrate” thing floating around, and my under-eye circles are, shall we say, pronounced. So, I figured, why not give it a shot? I mean, worst case scenario, I waste a little tea, right?
First, I brewed some super strong black tea. I used two tea bags for just a tiny bit of water – like, maybe a quarter cup? I wanted this stuff to be potent.
I let it steep for a good long while, way longer than I would if I was actually going to drink it. I’m talking like 15-20 minutes. The water turned this really deep, dark brown color.
Then, I took the tea bags out and squeezed every last drop of that tea-infused goodness into the cup. No waste here!
Did it again. I repeated for about a week, every night before I am going to sleep.
Honestly, I was kinda surprised. After a few days, my under-eye area looked…brighter? Less puffy? I’m not saying it was a miracle cure, but I definitely noticed a difference. Maybe it’s the caffeine in the tea, or the tannins, or maybe it’s just the cold compress effect. Whatever it is, I’m pretty happy with the results!
I’m going to keep doing this for a while and see if it keeps improving. It’s cheap, easy, and feels kinda fancy, so why not? Plus, it’s an excuse to relax for 20 minutes, and who doesn’t need that?
