matcha tea
Okay, so I was looking for something different to drink, you know, something besides my usual coffee or soda. That’s when I stumbled upon this “oolong tea” thing. But the thing is, I wanted it in Spanish ’cause, why not? It’s called “té oolong” in Spanish, it’s like “tea oolong,” easy peasy.
So, first, I went to a few stores around my place. I asked around, “Do you have té oolong?” Some people looked at me like I was crazy, others just shrugged. I even tried to explain, “It’s like, between green tea and black tea, you know?” Nope, no luck.
Then, I decided to hit up the internet. I typed in “té oolong” and a bunch of online stores popped up. I browsed through a few, compared prices, and finally settled on one that seemed legit. I added the tea to my cart, filled in my address, and paid for it. Easy enough.
I followed the instructions on the package – boiled some water, steeped the tea for a few minutes, and voila! My first cup of homemade “té oolong.” I took a sip, and it was pretty good! It had this smooth, kind of toasty flavor. It was different, but in a good way.
So, that’s my story of how I got my hands on some “té oolong.” It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought, but hey, I learned something new, and now I have a new drink to enjoy. Not bad for a random idea, huh?
