tea ceremony
Alright, let me tell ya ’bout this Oolong tea I found at Trader Joe’s. I ain’t no fancy tea expert, mind you, just a regular person who likes a good cuppa.
So, this tea, they call it “Golden Oolong,” and it comes in a bottle, all ready to drink. No fussing with tea bags or kettles, which is good for someone like me who ain’t got all day. They say it’s “unsweetened,” and that’s the truth. It ain’t sugary like them soda pops the young’uns drink. It’s got a taste…well, it’s kinda flowery, but also kinda earthy, like the smell after a good rain. Hard to explain, but it’s good.
Now, they say this Oolong tea is stronger than that green tea and that black tea too. I don’t know much about that, but I can tell ya, it does give ya a little pep in your step. They say there’s somethin’ called “caffeine” in it, and this bottle has got fifty of them “mgs” or whatever they call ’em. Enough to wake ya up, but not enough to make ya jittery like a cat on a hot tin roof.
What’s so special ’bout this Oolong tea, anyways?
I ain’t no doctor, so I can’t tell ya if all that’s true. But I can tell ya this: I like the taste of it, it makes me feel good, and it don’t cost an arm and a leg at Trader Joe’s. That’s good enough for me. It’s a nice change from that plain old water I usually drink.
How I drink it
I like to drink it cold, straight from the bottle. Sometimes, if I’m feelin’ fancy, I’ll pour it over some ice in a glass. On a hot day, it’s real refreshin’. You could probably heat it up too, if you wanted, but I ain’t tried that yet. Maybe I will when the weather gets colder.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a somethin’ new to drink, give this Trader Joe’s Golden Oolong tea a try. You might just like it. It ain’t the fanciest drink in the world, but it’s good, and that’s all that matters to me. And who knows, maybe it’ll do ya some good too. Can’t hurt to try, right?
Anyways, that’s my two cents on this here Oolong tea. Hope it helps ya out some. Now, I gotta go get back to my chores.
