tea set
Okay, so I’ve been getting into tea lately, and let me tell you, the world of tea is way bigger than I thought. I stumbled upon this Orchid Oolong, and the name alone had me hooked. I mean, come on, orchids and oolong? That just sounds fancy.
First, I did some digging online to see what this tea was all about. Found out that this tea is made using something called Tie Guan Yin, which is apparently a pretty high-quality type of oolong. And get this, they scent it with real Chinese Magnolia blossoms! I also learned that the tea is grown in a place called Nantou, Taiwan. I’ve never been, but it sounds beautiful, all the way up in the mountains.
Alright, so I ordered some of this Orchid Oolong online. When it arrived, I brewed up a cup. The leaves themselves smelled amazing, a really nice floral fragrance with that classic oolong base.
I heated up some water, poured it over the leaves, and let it steep. I kept checking, until the color looked about right. I poured it out and tried it.
Honestly, I was impressed. It had a really smooth, almost buttery flavor, with that sweet orchid scent coming through. It wasn’t too strong, just a really nice balance.
I’ve been drinking this Orchid Oolong for a few weeks now, and I’m definitely a fan. It’s become my go-to afternoon tea. It’s just so relaxing and delicious.
If you’re looking to try something new in the tea world, I definitely recommend giving Orchid Oolong a shot. It’s a real treat, and it might just surprise you. I am so glad I found this tea, and I just wanted to share my experience with you guys!
