So, I tried this Paris black tea thing the other day. I decided to try it because I’m kind of addicted to black tea, and I saw the words “Paris” on the box and thought, why not?
First, I opened the box. It smelled okay, kind of like flowers and some fruit. Didn’t think much of it.
Then, I boiled some water and put the tea bag in my mug. I poured the hot water over it and waited. The water turned like a dark red, kind of like the color of those fancy wines.
I took a sip, and man, it was bitter! Not in a bad way, but it was strong. Like, really strong. I put in some honey, like I saw some people suggest online.
I kept drinking it, and I noticed some other flavors coming through. I think it was vanilla, or something like that. It was faint, but it was there. Also, I think they put some caramel and black currant in there. Maybe that’s where the sweetness is coming from.
After I finished the cup, I felt kind of energized. Black tea is supposed to do that, right? It’s got those antioxidant things, theaflavins and what not.
So, yeah, I guess it did taste different. I looked it up and found out that black tea flavors depend on the plants and how they grow. This tea was probably made from some fancy leaves from who knows where.
Would I drink it again? Maybe. It wasn’t bad, especially with honey. If you like strong black tea, you might like this. It’s not just a regular tea. I heard it’s like a whole experience or something. I don’t know about all that, but it was interesting, I guess. But it’s definitely something different.
