Okay, so I’ve been trying out this whole peppermint green tea thing. I saw some stuff online about how it’s good for sleep and digestion, so I thought, why not give it a shot? I mean, who doesn’t want better sleep, right?

First, I got myself some peppermint green tea bags. It is not hard to find them, you can find it in any supermarket. Then, it was time to brew. I just put one tea bag into my mug.

Next, I boiled some water and poured it over the tea bag. Easy peasy. I let it steep for a few minutes – I think the box said around 3 to 5 minutes, but I just eyeballed it, to be honest. You know, waiting until the water turned a nice light green color.

After it was done steeping, I took out the tea bag. I took a sip, and honestly, it was pretty refreshing. It has this minty taste, but it’s not too strong. It’s like a mix of that minty freshness and the usual green tea flavor.

  • First night, I drank it about an hour before bed. I did feel a bit more relaxed, but I can’t say I slept like a baby or anything.
  • Then, I tried it for a few more nights. I started to notice that I was falling asleep a bit faster than usual. Plus, no more of that heavy feeling in my stomach after dinner.
  • I even did it during the day a couple of times when I was feeling bloated. And yeah, it actually helped with that too.

So, from my little experiment, I’d say peppermint green tea is worth a try. Especially if you’re into those natural remedies and stuff. It’s not some magic potion, but it did help me relax and feel a bit better overall.

My Takeaway

It is tasty, it seems to help with sleep and digestion at least a little bit. I’ll probably keep drinking it. It is a nice addition to my nightly routine, you know?
