Okay, here’s my blog post about making Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea:

So, I tried my hand at making some Phoenix Oolong Milk Tea the other day. I’ve seen it all over the internet, and people are always talking about how great it is. I figured, why not give it a shot? I love oolong tea, and I love milk tea, so it seemed like a no-brainer.

First, I gathered all the stuff I needed. I already had some Phoenix Oolong tea leaves at home, the good stuff. Then I grabbed some milk, sugar, and some tapioca pearls ’cause what’s milk tea without boba, right?

I started by brewing the tea. I heated up some water, not boiling, just hot. I used about a tablespoon of tea leaves for a big mug. I let it steep for, like, 5 minutes. The color turned into this beautiful golden brown, and the smell was amazing! Kind of flowery and a little bit nutty.

While the tea was brewing, I cooked up the tapioca pearls. I just followed the instructions on the package. Boiled some water, dumped them in, and waited until they floated. Easy peasy.

Next, I mixed everything together. I strained the tea into a big glass, added some sugar, and then poured in the milk. I used regular whole milk, but you could probably use any kind you like. I gave it a good stir and then added the cooked tapioca pearls.

The Final Test

  • Looked pretty good, just like the ones I see in shops.
  • Smelled amazing, that oolong aroma was really coming through.
  • Tasted… pretty darn good! The tea flavor was strong, but not too bitter. The milk made it nice and creamy, and the sugar added just the right amount of sweetness. And the boba? Perfect! Chewy and fun to eat.

Overall, I’d say it was a success! It’s not that hard to make, and it tastes just as good as the ones you buy. If you’re a fan of oolong tea or milk tea, you should definitely try making this at home. It’s a fun little project, and you get a delicious drink out of it. You just need to try and see!
