green tea
Alright, guys, let’s dive into making some white peach tea! I’ve been experimenting with this lately, and I think I’ve finally nailed down a combo I really like.
I started by, of course, grabbing some white tea. I Used loose leaf, ’cause, why not? It feels fancier. Then, I Needed that peachy goodness, you’d think its simple
Here’s what I gathered:
first, I put the white tea into my little tea infuser. About a teaspoon, I guess? I don’t really measure, I just eyeball it.
Next up, the freeze-dried peach! I crushed them up a little bit, so they’d fit better and release more flavor, and add it into the infuser.
Then, I took the calendula petals. I just sprinkled a few in – mostly for looks, honestly. They don’t add a ton of flavor, but they make it look pretty!
And, the tricky “natural flavor“. I added some drops of my peach juice.
Boiling water, poured it over the tea infuser, and let it steep for, like, 3-5 minutes. Again, I don’t time it, I just watch the color. When it looks like a nice, light golden color, it’s usually good.
The result? Pretty darn good! It’s got that delicate white tea flavor, with a definite sweet peachy kick. It’s light, it’s refreshing, and it’s not too overpowering. I think it would be great cold, too, for a summer *’s sweet. it’s juicy. it’s yummy.
So, there you have it! My super simple, totally homemade white peach tea blend. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
