Alright, so I’ve been meaning to share my experience with Rishi green tea. First off, I heard about this brand from a friend. He kept going on and on about how good it was. I decided to give it a try. One thing I learned is that this company, Rishi Tea, was started by a guy named Joshua Kaiser back in 1997 in Milwaukee, and it’s become pretty popular.

I went online and started looking for where to buy it. Found it on Target’s website, which was super convenient. They had this organic jasmine green tea for around $7.99, and they offered free shipping. So, I thought, why not? I placed an order, and it was pretty straightforward. I just needed to decide on the shipping method. They had options like Same Day Delivery and Drive Up, which made it even easier.

While I was waiting for my tea, I did a little digging into green tea in general. Turns out, it’s got way less caffeine than coffee. Like, a cup of coffee has around 100-120 mg of caffeine, but tea usually has only 20-50 mg. So, that’s a big plus for me because I’m trying to cut back on caffeine.

When the tea finally arrived, I was excited to try it. The packaging looked nice, and I noticed it said “Organic Sencha Green Tea” on it. It mentioned that the tea comes from Kyushu Island and has a savory-sweet flavor. Sounded pretty good to me.

Brewing it was simple. I just followed the instructions on the box, which was basically adding hot water to the tea leaves. I waited for a few minutes, and then it was ready to drink. The smell was amazing – really fresh and inviting. And the taste? Man, it was good. It had that savory-sweet thing going on, just like it said on the box. It was gentle and not too strong, which I liked.

  • First Sip: The initial taste was really pleasant. It wasn’t bitter at all, which I’ve experienced with some other green teas.
  • Aftertaste: There was a nice, subtle aftertaste that lingered for a bit. It made me want to take another sip right away.
  • Overall Impression: I have to say, I was impressed. It’s definitely a high-quality tea.

So, that’s my experience with Rishi green tea. I’m glad I decided to try it out. It’s become one of my favorite teas now, and I’ve even recommended it to a few friends. If you’re looking for a good green tea, I’d say give Rishi a shot. You might just love it like I do.

Final Thoughts

Yeah, so that’s my little adventure with Rishi green tea. It’s been a good one. I’m no tea expert, but I know what I like, and this tea definitely hits the spot. Plus, knowing that it’s got less caffeine than coffee makes me feel better about drinking it regularly. I’ll keep buying this for sure. I feel a sense of satisfaction after drinking it.
