white tea
Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with making my own tea bags lately, and I just had to share my latest experiment: rosemary tea bags. I know, it sounds kind of weird, but trust me, it’s pretty awesome.
First off, I tried getting some rosemary. I went to the local supermarket, they usually have everything, right? But guess what? No fresh rosemary. Seriously, what’s up with that? Anyway, I had some dried rosemary in my kitchen.
Then, I did a little online search. It was not easy because there is so much information. I learned that in the morning, it can give you a good start, and at night, it helps you chill out. And then I just used some dried rosemary leaves from my spice rack. I grabbed a bunch, oh, and I picked up some empty tea bags from the store a while back. Super convenient, these ones had a resealable bag to keep things fresh. No Sugar, No Caffeine, No Gluten.
I boiled some water in my kettle, you know, the usual. While waiting for it to boil, I started filling the tea bags. It’s a bit of a guessing game, but I figured about two teaspoons of the dried rosemary for each bag should be good. It’s not rocket science, just eyeball it.
Once the water was boiling, I poured it into my favorite mug with the filled tea bag. I let it steep for, like, five minutes, maybe a bit more. I like it strong. By the way, I also found some tea bags sold online, but I felt mine was better.
Honestly, making these was a breeze. And the tea? Surprisingly good. It’s a nice change from the usual green or black tea. I’ve been sipping it in the mornings to get a little focus boost, and sometimes at night to help me wind down. Plus, it feels pretty cool to make something like this from scratch. I felt so proud of myself. Anyway, just wanted to share my little tea adventure. Give it a try if you’re looking for something different!
