tea ceremony
This tea, this Rougui Oolong, it’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. Ain’t like that cheap stuff you get at the market. This one, it’s got a kick, a real good kick. Like cinnamon, but not exactly. Kinda like, you know, those apricots, but roasted, all warm and cozy.
You see them leaves? They big, dark. Not like them little green ones. They say this Rougui Tea comes from some fancy mountains. Wuyi mountains, they call ’em. Way up high, I reckon. Where it is real special and good for this kind of tea. Fujian province. Sounds far, huh? But that’s where the good stuff grows, where it gets this special taste. And them leaves, oh, they smell good, even before you put the hot water on ’em.
Now, I ain’t one for fancy words, but this tea, it’s somethin’ special. They call it oolong. Sounds funny, right? But it is a good kind of funny. It means, well, I don’t rightly know what it means, but it’s a good kind of tea. Not too strong, not too weak. Just right. And this Rougui Oolong Tea, it’s like the king of them oolongs, I hear.
And you know what’s the best part? You can use them same leaves over and over again! They call it “steeps”. Fancy word for usin’ ’em again. And each time, it tastes a little different. First time, it’s strong, like that cinnamon bark. Then it gets a little softer, more like them roasted apricots. Each cup is a good and a new surprise. You keep pourin’ that hot water, and them leaves just keep on givin’.
I heard some folks talkin’, sayin’ this tea is good for ya. Good for your insides. Helps ya digest, they say. And keeps ya healthy. I don’t know about all that, but I know it makes me feel good. Warm and cozy inside, like a good hug from your grandkids. And it keeps me regular, if you know what I mean. Important when you get to be my age, let me tell you!
Now, this here Rougui, it ain’t just any tea. It’s got a history, a long one. They been makin’ this tea for years and years, way back when. Even longer than I been alive, and that’s sayin’ somethin’! They say the emperors used to drink it. Yep, the big shots. Must be somethin’ to it, huh? If it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for me!
They got all sorts of stories about this tea. Legends, they call ’em. About how it was discovered, how it’s made. I don’t remember all of it. Old age does that to you. You start forgetting things. But one thing I know for sure. This Rougui Oolong Tea is good, real good. This ain’t just any regular tea.
You gotta try it sometime. Really, you do. It is a good tea for any day. It’ll change the way you think about tea. It ain’t just a drink, it’s an experience, like watchin’ the sun come up over the fields. It’s somethin’ special. And this Rougui Oolong, it’s the best of the best. It makes you feel good, and it tastes good, what else you want?
So next time you’re lookin’ for a good cup of tea, remember this old lady’s advice. Get yourself some of this Rougui Tea. You won’t regret it. It’s the real deal. And tell ’em I sent ya! They might not know who I am, but tell them an old lady who knows her tea said it’s good. That’s all that matters.
One more thing! This tea, it’s a good time. Drink it slow, enjoy the taste. Don’t just gulp it down like that other stuff. This one, you gotta savor it. Like a good piece of pie. You don’t just gobble it down, you take your time, enjoy every bite. Same with this tea. Every sip is somethin’ special. A good and special drink.
