Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Kate Spade tea set for, like, forever. It’s got these adorable polka dots and it just screams “fancy tea party,” even if it’s just me and my cat, Mr. Whiskers. So, I finally decided to treat myself. I’m no expert, but this is how the tea party played out.

Finding the Perfect Set

First, I scoured the internet. I checked the official Kate Spade website, and then I browsed through some department stores online, just to make sure I was getting the best deal. I found a few different options – some with teacups and saucers, others with mugs. I even saw some with little dessert plates! Decisions, decisions.

Making My Choice

After much deliberation (and asking Mr. Whiskers for his opinion, which he didn’t give), I settled on a set that had two teacups, two saucers, and a teapot. It was the perfect size for a small gathering, or, you know, a solo tea party with a feline companion.

The Unboxing!

Oh boy, when that box arrived, it was like Christmas morning! I carefully opened it up, and unwrapped each piece. Everything was packaged so nicely, and the polka dots were even cuter in person. The teapot was the star of the show, though. It was just so…charming.

Brewing the Tea

Now, for the actual tea! I’m a simple gal, so I grabbed my favorite box of Earl Grey. I boiled some water, warmed up the teapot (a trick I learned from my grandma), and then steeped the tea for a few minutes. The smell was heavenly.

The Tea Party

Finally, the moment I’d been waiting for! I carefully poured the tea into the cups, added a splash of milk, and arranged some cookies on a plate. Mr. Whiskers got his own little saucer of milk (no tea for him, obviously). We “clinked” our cups (well, I clinked, he lapped), and I took my first sip. It was perfect! So I just sat, sip, and enjoy.

Cleaning Up

All the good things must come to an end. So I carefully washed all parts of tea set, and put them back to the display cabinet.

It felt so fancy and special, even though it was just a simple afternoon tea. This Kate Spade tea set definitely added a touch of whimsy and joy to my day. 10/10 would recommend.
