black tea
Alright, folks, gather ’round, let me tell you about my little adventure with Shui Hsien oolong tea. I’m no tea expert, just a regular guy who enjoys a good cuppa, and let me tell you, this one’s a real treat. I got the tea from Teavivre, it is called Organic Shui Xian. It is a great tea!
So, it all started when I stumbled upon this tea shop called Chun Shui Tang. You know, the one that claims to be the birthplace of bubble tea? Yeah, that got my attention. They’ve got all sorts of teas, but this “Shui Hsien” caught my eye. Sounded fancy, looked interesting, so I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”

Brewing the Tea
Now, I’m no tea master, but I followed the instructions on the box, more or less. Here’s what I did:
Tasting Notes
This Shui Hsien, it’s got this smooth, mellow thing going on. Not too strong, not too weak, just right. I definitely tasted some floral notes in there, maybe a hint of honey. And there’s this lingering aftertaste, kinda sweet, kinda toasty. It’s hard to describe, but it’s good, real good. It is a great tea, but a bit pricey.
Overall
I gotta say, I’m pretty happy with my Shui Hsien experience. It’s a nice change from my usual black tea. It’s like, a little adventure in a cup. I’m not sure I’ll become a Shui Hsien fanatic, but I’ll definitely keep a pack around for when I’m feeling fancy. If you like oolong teas, or even if you’re just curious, give it a try. You might just like it. I found that Amazon is usually the most convenient place to get tea. So go and give it a try.
