herbal tea
Okay, so today I wanted to share my little adventure with Shui Xian Oolong tea. You know, I’ve been getting into these different teas lately, and this one caught my eye. It’s also called “Water Sprite,” which sounds kinda cool, right?
So, first off, I got this tea from some place that said it’s from the Wuyi Mountains. I guess that’s like the place to get this kind of tea. I ordered it online, like I do with most of my stuff. When the package came, I was pretty excited to try it out.
I opened it up and took a big whiff. Man, it smelled good. It had this floral smell that just hit you right away. It made my kitchen smell awesome, not gonna lie.
Now, I’m no tea expert, but I followed the instructions on the package. I heated up some water, not too hot, not too cold. I think it was about 90 degrees Celsius. I used my special thermometer for cooking to do so. Then, I put some tea leaves in my teapot. I didn’t really measure, just eyeballed it. It’s not rocket science.
The tea came out looking like a light amber color. It looked pretty nice in my clear teapot. I poured myself a cup and took a sip. It was smooth, man. Not bitter at all, which I liked. It had that floral taste that matched the smell, but it was also kinda sweet.
I sat there, sipping my tea, and just enjoyed the moment. It was relaxing, you know? I felt all fancy and stuff, drinking this special tea. I even shared some with my friend who came over. He’s not really a tea guy, but he said it was pretty good.
So, that’s my story about trying Shui Xian Oolong tea. I think I’ll be drinking this one again. It’s a nice change from my usual black tea. If you’re looking to try something different, I’d say give it a shot. It’s easy to make, smells great, and tastes even better. Plus, it makes you feel a little bit like a tea connoisseur, even if you’re just a regular dude like me.
