black tea
Okay, guys, let me tell you about this tea I tried the other day – Shui Xian oolong. I’ve been getting into oolongs lately, and this one was pretty interesting.
So, I went to this local tea shop. I told the lady I wanted to try some oolong, and she recommended this Shui Xian stuff. I got a small bag, and she said it’s from Wuyi Mountain in China. She said it’s kinda special and has a unique taste.
When I got home, I boiled some water and opened the bag. The tea leaves were kinda big and dark. I put some in my teapot and poured the hot water over them. I let it steep for a few minutes, I guess. I don’t really know about the timing. I just waited until the color looked right.
The tea turned this amber-reddish color. It looked kinda cool. I poured myself a cup and took a sip. It was definitely different from other oolongs I’ve had. It had this roasty, kind of mineral taste, but also a little floral. It’s hard to describe, but it was good. She said it is the taste of orchid. I have no idea about what she said, but I think it’s good.
I drank the whole pot that day. I even brewed the leaves a few more times, and they still had a lot of flavor. So, yeah, that was my experience with Shui Xian oolong tea. I think you can drink oolong tea every day. It is good for your body. I heard that oolong tea is also good for body metabolism. That’s why I drink it every day. And I heard that Taiwan’s oolong tea is famous in the world. Maybe I should try it next time.
If you’re into oolong, I’d say give it a try. It’s a little different, but in a good way.
I think you can buy it in any tea shop in your city. I recommend you to have a try.
