Smoking Black Tea: Easy Guide (What It Is & How to Try)

Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “smoking black tea” videos pop up all over my feed, and, well, I got curious. I mean, who smokes tea? I had to try it, and I figured I might as well document the whole goofy process.

Getting Started

First things first, I needed some tea. I just grabbed a box of regular old Lipton black tea bags from the cupboard – nothing fancy. I figured if this whole thing went sideways, I wouldn’t be wasting any of the good stuff.

The Prep Work

Next, I ripped open a tea bag and dumped the contents onto a small plate. It looked like…well, dried tea leaves. No surprises there. I then rolled it up, like people tabacco. It wasn’t easy. The tea leaves were kinda crumbly, and I definitely made a bit of a mess.

The Moment of Truth

  • Lighting it up:It was kinda hard to get it to stay lit, I must to use a small torch and a normal lighter to make it burning well.
  • The taste: Okay, this is where things got weird. It didn’t taste like anything I expected. It wasn’t smoky like a campfire, not at * was just…bitter and kinda grassy.
  • The feeling:Honestly, I didn’t feel much of anything. No buzz, no relaxation, just a weird taste in my mouth. My throat felt kinda dry, and I coughed a few times.

My Conclusion

After a few puffs, I just put it out. It wasn’t pleasant. I would like to say: Just don’t. It’s not worth it. Seriously, just brew your tea and enjoy it the normal way. I think I’ll stick to drinking my tea from now on. It was a fun experiment, but definitely a one-time thing.
