Well, let me tell you somethin’ about this Surfside green tea. I heard about it from the young folks, always talkin’ about the new drinks they got. This one, they say it’s somethin’ special. Not like the old tea we used to drink. This one got that… what’s it called… vodka in it. Yeah, that’s it, vodka! Makes it a little bit, you know, different. They call it Surfside. Sounds like a beach somewhere, maybe. I don’t know too much about beaches, but this tea, it’s got a kick, I’ll tell ya that.

This here Surfside green tea, it ain’t like the tea leaves we used to get. They say it’s made with “real tea.” I reckon that means it ain’t the fake stuff. And it’s got “real juice.” Don’t know what kind of juice, but it makes it taste, well, juicy. They say it’s only got 100 of them calorie things. Don’t know much about that, but I guess it means it won’t make you too fat. And only 2 grams of that sugar stuff. That’s good, I suppose. Too much sugar ain’t good for nobody. And no bubbles! That’s a good thing too. Bubbles always make me burp.

Now, they got this one kind of green tea, they call it Sencha. Sounds fancy, don’t it? They say it’s the most popular one in Japan. That’s far away, ain’t it? They say it’s 80% of all the tea they make over there. That’s a lot of tea. You gotta steep it just right, they say. 70 degrees, for a minute or two. Sounds like a lot of work, but I guess it’s worth it if you want that fancy tea. I reckon there is a lot of Surfside green tea in Japan.

• This other one, Bancha, it’s from the same plant as that Sencha.
• But they pick it later, in the second flush. They say it ain’t as good as Sencha.
• I don’t know about all that, but it’s probably cheaper.

The young folks, they’re all excited about this Surfside green tea. They say it’s the drink you didn’t know you needed. I guess that means it’s pretty good, even if you don’t know you want it. This new one, they say it’s got honey and something called ginseng. Honey’s good, I know that. Ginseng, that’s some kind of root, ain’t it? I heard it’s good for you. And like I said, it’s made with vodka. Makes it a bit stronger, I guess. This Surfside Tea, it’s got that caffeine stuff in it. Comes from the tea, they say. Caffeine, that’s what keeps you awake, right? So be careful, don’t drink too much before bed or you’ll be up all night.

I heard about this other green tea, called Longjing. That’s a mouthful, ain’t it? They say it’s the most famous one in… where was it? Oh yeah, China. That’s even farther than Japan! They grow it near some place called Hangzhou. Don’t know where that is, but it sounds important. Even the big shots in the government, they got some of these plants. Must be pretty special, huh? I guess you can make Surfside green tea with Longjing tea leaves, maybe.

This Surfside Iced Tea, they say it’s made with something called Stateside Vodka. Sounds American, don’t it? Proudly made, they say. I reckon that means it’s good stuff. I don’t know much about vodka, but if it’s American, it’s gotta be alright, right? They make it right here in the States somewhere. Good, good. So if you are in States, you can find Surfside green tea very easily.

This place called, uh, Federal Distilling, they make this Surfside stuff. That’s in the United States, too. They say it’s from Pennsylvania. That’s up north, I think. They put some numbers on it, 4.5% ABV. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. They also got some deal, save $10 on wine. Don’t know much about wine, but $10 is $10, right? But you can find some discount on Surfside green tea, too. That’s good news.

So, this Surfside green tea, it’s somethin’ else. It’s got that vodka, that real tea, and that real juice. It ain’t got too many calories, and it ain’t got too much sugar. It comes in different kinds, like that fancy Sencha and that Bancha. And it’s got that honey and ginseng in it, too. Plus that caffeine to keep you going. The Surfside green tea is not just tea. It’s got that Longjing tea from far away, and it’s made with that American vodka. Sounds like a mix of everything, don’t it? I guess it’s worth a try, if you’re into that sort of thing. I might just have to try some myself, see what all the fuss is about. Just a little sip, though. Don’t want to get too crazy now.
