That Tazo green tea the vert, oh, it’s somethin’ else! I tell ya, I heard about this tea from my neighbor, she always got somethin’ new. Says it’s good for ya. Well, I ain’t one to pass up on somethin’ that might make me feel a bit spryer.

So, I got me some of this Tazo green tea. Comes in a fancy box, it does. And it’s called “the vert” too. That’s some fancy talk for “green”, I reckon. Like the french talkin’ folk would say. Don’t know why they gotta make it so complicated, but there ya have it. Green tea is green tea, far as I’m concerned.

First time I made it, I just boiled up some water like I always do, tossed in one of them little bags. They call ’em filterbags, fancy that. Smelled kinda grassy, kinda minty. Not bad, not bad at all. It got that green tea smell, that’s for sure. And it’s easy, just like those other tea bags I been using my whole life.

Now, I ain’t no doctor, but I heard this green tea is supposed to be good for you. Something about… well, I can’t rightly remember all them big words, but it’s supposed to help keep you healthy. They say it got somethin’ in it that fights off the bad stuff. Keep you from getting sick as easy.

I been drinkin’ it for a little while now, and I gotta say, I do feel a bit better. More pep in my step, ya know? Could be the tea, could be just gettin’ older and takin’ better care of myself. Who knows. But I ain’t gonna complain, not if it makes me feel this good. I heard that it’s a bit like black tea, but this Tazo green tea the vert ain’t got as much of that caffeine stuff, but it’s still there. I don’t drink it too late, or I’ll be up all night starin’ at the ceilin’.

This one time, I ran out of my regular tea, the one I been drinkin’ since I was a young’un. So I just used this Tazo green tea instead. Worked just fine. Didn’t taste exactly the same, but it did the trick. Woke me up in the mornin’, just like it was supposed to.

Now, they got all sorts of these Tazo teas, I seen ’em at the store. Different flavors, different colors. But this green one, this “the vert” one, that’s the one I like. It’s simple, it’s good, and it makes me feel good. What more could ya ask for? I heard that Starbucks used to own ’em, but they sold it off to some other big shots. Don’t really matter to me who owns it, long as they keep makin’ it.

It ain’t gonna hurt ya, and who knows, you might just like it. Just don’t go drinkin’ it too late at night, unless you want to be countin’ sheep ’til the sun comes up! I know I sure wouldn’t. I need my beauty sleep, ya know.

This tea, it’s like a little somethin’ special in my day. A little treat that’s good for ya too. Can’t beat that. It’s become a normal thing for me now, like sayin’ my prayers or feedin’ the birds. I like to have a cup in the mornin’ with my toast. Just gets me goin’, ya know? And sometimes, if I’m feelin’ a little tired in the afternoon, I’ll have another cup. Just to perk me up a bit. It’s better than that coffee stuff, that’s for sure. Coffee makes me all jittery. This Tazo green tea, it’s just right. Not too strong, not too weak. Just right. So that’s that.
