Okay, so yesterday I was looking for a dress for my friend’s tea party. I’m not good at picking clothes, but my friend told me that the theme is “tea party dress white,” so I just go with that.

First, I went online and searched for “tea party dress white.” I saw lots of pretty dresses, like this one dress called “HomRain Women’s Elegant Bell Sleeve Cocktail Tea Party Dresses.” It looked nice, but I was not sure if it was the right one. Then I saw another one, “A-Line Wedding Dresses V Neck Tea Length Satin Half Sleeve Casual Vintage Little White Dress 1950s.” It looked kinda vintage, which I like, but it said “wedding dress,” so I was not sure if it’s appropriate for a tea party.

So, I decided to go to a real store. I went to Target and asked the staff where I can find white tea party dresses. They showed me a few options, but nothing really caught my eye. They were either too plain or too fancy, not exactly what I had in mind.

Feeling a bit lost, I went to check out some local shops. I found this one shop that had a bunch of dresses labeled “white tea party dress.” I tried on a few. One was a “Cocktail Dresses for Women 2024 Wedding Guest Midi Dress with Sleeves Formal Tea Party Dress for Women.” It had this “Keyhole Floral Embroidery” thing, which looked kinda cute. It cost $43.95, and they said it had free shipping if I ordered online. But I didn’t want to order online because I needed the dress like, right now.

Then, I tried on another dress. It was called “Hfyihgf Women’s Vintage Polka Dot Dress 1950s Square Neck Sleeveless Retro A-line Cocktail Dresses Prom Swing Tea Party Evening Dress (White).” It had polka dots, which was kinda fun. It also had a “square neck” and no sleeves, which I liked since it was going to be warm out.

After trying on a few more, I found the perfect one! It’s a simple white dress, kind of like a “tea-length dress,” and it had a bit of a floral pattern, which I thought was cute.

The Dress

  • Style: Simple, white, tea-length dress
  • Pattern: Floral, very subtle
  • Fit: Fits just right, not too tight, not too loose

So yeah, that’s how I found my white tea party dress. It was a bit of a journey, but I’m happy with what I found. I think it’s perfect for the party, and I feel good wearing it.
