Okay, so, I’ve always been into skincare, right? I mean, I’m always trying out new stuff – serums, masks, moisturizers, you name it. My skin’s kinda sensitive, and I break out easily, so finding the right cleanser is a big deal for me.

I was at Trader Joe’s the other day, just browsing the aisles, and I saw this Tea Tree Oil Cleanser. I’d heard good things about tea tree oil for acne, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I mean, it’s Trader Joe’s, so it’s gotta be at least a little bit natural, right? Plus, it was, like, super cheap. I think I paid under ten bucks for it.

My First Try

• I got home and washed my face with it that night. The first thing I noticed was the smell. It’s pretty strong, that tea tree oil scent. Not bad, just… strong.
• The cleanser itself is kinda thin, not super creamy or anything. It lathered up okay, though.
• I massaged it into my skin for a minute or so, then rinsed it off.

The Result

My face felt really clean afterward, but not in a stripped, dry way. You know what I mean? Like, it felt clean but still hydrated. I’ve been using it for about a week now, twice a day, and I gotta say, I’m impressed.

My skin looks clearer, and I haven’t had any new breakouts. I have some stubborn old acne that now looks a lot better. Plus, it just feels good to use. It’s like a little aromatherapy session every time I wash my face. I’ve actually had acne problems since I was a teenager. Nothing else worked before, but this is different. It works!

I don’t know if it’s a miracle worker or anything, but for the price, this Tea Tree Oil Cleanser from Trader Joe’s is definitely worth a try. Especially if you’re dealing with oily skin or occasional breakouts. I’m gonna keep using it and see how it goes, but so far, so good.

The only bad things are that the smell is strong, and it’s a little thin and not creamy. But I can live with that for clear skin.

So, yeah. That’s my experience with it. It’s become a skincare routine for me now. I just wanted to share in case anyone else is looking for a new cleanser to try. Two thumbs up from me!
