Okay, so I’ve been trying to get my hair game on point, and I figured, why not try making my own leave-in conditioner? I saw this thing about using tea tree oil, which is supposed to be good for your hair, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I did a quick search online and saw that there are products like this out there, such as Olive Miracle Leave-In Conditioner that also has tea tree in it, so I thought I was onto something.
First things first, I needed to get all the ingredients together. I already had some tea tree oil at home because I sometimes use it for my skin. Then, I grabbed:
Now for the fun part. I poured some water into the spray bottle, added a few drops of tea tree oil, and then some olive oil. I honestly just eyeballed the amounts – didn’t really measure anything. I figured, if it’s too strong, I can always dilute it later. I gave the bottle a good shake to mix everything up.
I washed my hair like usual and then sprayed my homemade concoction all over. I made sure to get it all the way from my roots to the ends. After that, I just combed through my hair to spread it out evenly. It felt a little weird at first, kind of oily, but I figured that’s just the olive oil doing its thing.
After letting my hair dry, it actually felt pretty soft! And it looked shinier, which is always a plus. The tea tree oil gave it a nice, fresh smell too. I’ve been using this mix for a couple of weeks now, and I think it’s really helping to keep my hair moisturized and prevent breakage. Plus, it’s way cheaper than buying those fancy leave-in conditioners from the store.
So yeah, that’s my little experiment with making a tea tree oil leave-in conditioner. It was super easy, and I think it’s actually working pretty well. If you’re looking for a simple and cheap way to take care of your hair, you might want to give this a try!
