tea ceremony
Okay, so I’ve been seeing this tea tree oil serum thing all over the place, and my skin’s been acting up lately. You know, random breakouts, a bit of redness… the usual drama. So, I thought, “Why not give it a shot?” I mean, I’ve heard tea tree oil is good for acne, so a serum sounds like it might actually do something.
First, I got myself a bottle. It wasn’t anything fancy, just something from the drugstore. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money in case it didn’t work out. I checked the ingredients, made sure it was mostly tea tree oil and didn’t have a bunch of other weird stuff in it. It smelled pretty strong, like, REALLY strong, but I figured that’s just how tea tree oil is.
Then came the actual testing part. After I washed my face at night, I put a few drops of the serum onto my fingertips. It felt kinda oily, which I wasn’t expecting. I gently patted it onto my problem areas – mostly my chin and forehead where I tend to break out the most. I avoided my eyes, of course, because I didn’t want to end up crying my eyes out.
I did this every night for about a week. The first few days, I didn’t really notice anything different. My skin still felt a bit oily after applying the serum, but it didn’t seem to be making things worse. I did notice that the redness around some of my pimples seemed to go down a little bit, which was a good sign.
By the end of the week, I could actually see a small difference. My existing pimples were definitely less angry-looking, and I hadn’t gotten any new major breakouts. My skin still wasn’t perfect, obviously, but it did seem like the serum was helping to calm things down. It was not a miracle cure, but i think it made a slight difference.
So, that’s my little experiment with tea tree oil serum. It wasn’t a total game-changer, but it did seem to help with my breakouts a bit. I’m going to keep using it for a while longer and see if it continues to improve things. Will keep you posted the result!
