Okay, so I got this dog, right? A real cutie, but man, his fur was getting kinda rough and he was scratching like crazy. I tried a bunch of different shampoos, but nothing seemed to really help. Then I remembered reading something about tea tree oil being good for skin and stuff. I did some more digging online and saw that you could use it for dogs too, but you gotta be careful because it can be harsh if you don’t dilute it enough.

So, I figured, why not give it a shot? I went online and started looking for tea tree oil shampoos specifically made for dogs. There were a bunch of options, but I ended up going with one that had pretty good reviews.

When it arrived, I was a little nervous about using it. I gave my dog a good bath using the shampoo. The directions were pretty simple, just like any other shampoo – wet the fur, lather it up, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse.

Here’s how I did it:

  • Wetting the fur: First, I got my dog all nice and wet with warm water.
  • Applying the shampoo: I squeezed a good amount of the shampoo into my hands and started working it into his fur. It lathered up really nicely.
  • Waiting game: I let the shampoo sit on his fur for about 5 minutes, like the bottle said. Just chilled with him in the bathroom.
  • Rinsing time: After the 5 minutes, I rinsed him off thoroughly with warm water, making sure to get all the shampoo out.

After he dried off, I noticed a difference right away! His fur was way softer, and he didn’t seem as itchy. It’s been a few weeks now, and I’ve used the shampoo a couple more times. His scratching has definitely decreased, and his coat looks so much healthier.
