Okay, here’s my personal take on The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil Face Wash, written in the style of a casual blog post:

Alright, guys, let’s talk about face wash. Specifically, that green bottle everyone’s seen: The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Face Wash. I’ve been battling these annoying little breakouts, so I figured, why not give it a shot? I picked up a bottle a while back and have been using it consistently. Here’s how it all went down.

First Impressions

The first thing I noticed was the smell. It’s STRONG. Like, really strong tea tree oil smell. If you’re not a fan of that scent, you might wanna brace yourself. But, honestly, I kind of dig it. It feels…clean, you know?

The Washing Process

  • I started by wetting my face with some lukewarm water. Nothing fancy.
  • Then, I squeezed out a little bit of the face wash onto my fingertips. You really don’t need much, this stuff lathers up like crazy.
  • I gently massaged it all over my face, being careful to avoid my eyes (that tea tree oil stings, trust me).
  • After about 30 seconds of scrubbing,I rinsed thoroughly with more lukewarm water.

I patted my face dry, and, I’m not kidding, my skin felt super clean. Almost squeaky clean, which, in the past, has meant my skin would get dry later. But with this, it wasn’t too bad.

The Results (So Far)

So, I’ve been using this stuff twice a day, morning and night, for a few weeks.

I found my skin felt less oily throughout the day, and, more importantly, I saw a difference in my breakouts. They weren’t completely gone, but they were definitely smaller and less angry-looking.

I’m going to keep using it and see if things get even better. It is a solid, no-frills face wash that seems to do what it says on the bottle.
