Well, you know, this thing, triangle tea bags, it ain’t nothin’ new. Just like them pyramid tea bags, same thing. They make ’em outta paper, or that cornstarch stuff, somethin’ they call muslin, or that fishnet-lookin’ nylon. All them things that go back to the earth, you know? Biodegradable, they call it.

Triangle Tea Bags Ain’t New

Back in my day, we just used loose tea leaves. Toss ’em in the pot, pour in the boilin’ water, and let ‘er steep. Didn’t need no fancy bags. But these young folks today, they like things all neat and tidy. So, they put the tea in these little bags. And these triangle tea bags, they say it makes the tea taste better. Somethin’ about givin’ the leaves more room to dance around in the hot water.

They say in 2023, them PG Tips folks made a tea bag that brews up real quick, just one minute. And them bags were square, not triangle. Said they was the only square tea bags around. But hey, square, triangle, what’s the difference? Tea’s tea, right?

What’s This Triangle Bag Made Of?

This here thing, this biodegradable filter, PLA, that’s what they call it. It’s made from corn. Yep, plain ol’ corn starch. Who woulda thought? They say it’s all-natural, 100%. Good for the earth, I reckon.

  • Cornstarch, that’s the main thing.
  • Some use paper, too.
  • Muslin, kinda like that cloth we used to strain the milk.
  • And that fine-mesh nylon, looks like a tiny fishnet.

I seen them triangle tea bags from some fancy company, TEALEAVES, that’s the name. They say it’s a “daily luxury.” Well, ain’t that somethin’? Tea used to be just tea. Now it’s luxury. They say the flavor and the smell, oh, it’s just so much better with the whole leaves in these triangle bags. They call them “Pyramid” bags, too. Tags: Tea, Pyramid. Fancy words, huh?

Why Triangle, Though?

They say this triangle shape, it’s special. Gives the tea leaves more space, you see? When the hot water hits ’em, they can swirl around, open up, and let all that good flavor out. They call it “optimal infusion space.” Sounds mighty important, don’t it? Makes for a stronger, better-tastin’ cup of tea, they claim.

I saw on a package, it said “Triangle Tea Bags” and “Green Tea” on it. Even had some stars on the box. Said 3.8 out of 5 stars, 41 people liked it, and it makes 25 cups. That’s a lot of tea from one box, I reckon.

Now, I ain’t tried these triangle tea bags myself. I’m still partial to my loose-leaf tea. But I hear folks talkin’ ’bout ’em. They say it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Easier, cleaner, and tastes better, too. Maybe I’ll give ’em a try one of these days. When my old tin of loose tea runs out, that is. Old habits die hard, you know?

This Tea Bag Thing Is Everywhere Now

You go to the store, and it’s all you see. Shelves full of these triangle tea bags. Different brands, different flavors. Green tea, black tea, herbal tea, you name it. They even got those fruity ones now. Peach, raspberry, even mango! Back in my day, tea was just tea. Now it’s a whole rainbow of flavors.

And they all say the same thing. “Best tea ever!” “Superior flavor!” “Experience the difference!” It’s all about that triangle shape, they say. That magical shape that makes the tea taste like a million bucks. Well, I don’t know about a million bucks, but I guess it’s somethin’ to try if you’re into that sort of thing.

My neighbor, she gave me a box of them triangle tea bags. Said I had to try ’em. They were some kind of chamomile tea. Said it would help me sleep. I tried it, and you know what? It wasn’t half bad. Still prefer my regular tea, but it was okay. Maybe these newfangled tea bags ain’t so bad after all.

So, there you have it. Triangle tea bags. They’re everywhere, they’re fancy, and they supposedly make the best darn cup of tea you ever tasted. Whether you believe it or not, well, that’s up to you. But one thing’s for sure, they ain’t goin’ anywhere anytime soon. This tea bag thing is here to stay. And maybe, just maybe, this old dog might learn a new trick and start usin’ ’em, too. We’ll see.
